Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today. 

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 73.78 points or 0.09 per cent.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 0.24 per cent, power zoomed by 0.27 per cent, and auto surged by 0.09 per cent.

Meanwhile, Shyam Metalics and Energy Ltd, TVS Holdings Ltd and JSW Holdings Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.

Shyam Metalics and Energy Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 5.46 per cent to trade at Rs 870.50 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces. 

TVS Holdings Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 4.63 per cent to trade at Rs 15,139.95 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces. 

JSW Holdings Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 3.79 per cent to trade at Rs 17,996.95 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces. 

IPO today

In the mainline IPO segment, Sudeep Pharma's Rs 895 crore initial public offering will enter its second day. There are no active issues in the SME segment.
