SBI LT Advantage Fund-IV- Reg (G) delivers 3.50 per cent returns, becomes best performer

The markets have seen some sideways movement in the past week with BSE Sensex delivering a negative return of 0.04 per cent. 

The markets have seen some sideways movement in the past week with BSE Sensex delivering a negative return of 0.04 per cent.  Although, few mutual schemes have outperformed the broader markets by delivering positive returns over the same period.

In the week gone by, SBI LT Advantage Fund-IV- Reg (G) is leading the equity linked savings scheme (ELSS) segment and has delivered nearly 3.50 per cent returns. The scheme is the best performer not only in the category but has beaten other category mutual fund schemes as well.

The ELSS category average performance has been 0.87 per cent in the past week whereas the benchmark index for the said scheme, BSE 500, has delivered 0.49 per cent in the past week.
 
SBI LT Advantage Fund-IV- Reg (G) has delivered 4 per cent returns over one month versus the category average of 2.21 per cent and BSE 500 returns of 2.51 per cent.
 
Some of the top holdings of the ELSS scheme are SBI, PSP Projects, ICICI Bank, Srei Infrastructure, Kirloskar Oil Engines, HDFC Bank, Gareware Well Ropes, Muthoot Finance, Colgate Palmolive and Balkrishna Industries.
