Silver Touch Technologies: 725% Up in 5 Years; Rs 5.12 Crore Order Win Puts Small-Cap Stock in Focus

multibagger Small-Cap stock Silver Touch Technologies is likely to remain in focus on Monday, September 14, after the company announced a fresh order win from Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL).
In a post-market regulatory filing on Friday, September 11, the company said it had secured an order worth Rs 5.12 crore from GUVNL. The contract is for one year and involves comprehensive management and support of critical IT infrastructure.
Under the contract, Silver Touch Technologies will manage computer servers, storage systems, SAN switches, tape libraries and backup architecture. The company has also committed to maintaining application uptime services at a 99 per cent SLA.
The infrastructure supports GUVNL's e-Urja platform, an ERP backbone connecting Gujarat's electricity generation, transmission and distribution utilities. The platform serves more than one crore consumers across the state.
Government IT Portfolio
The latest order further strengthens Silver Touch Technologies' presence in government technology and digital transformation projects. The company has been executing projects for prominent government institutions, including the Indian Navy, Ministry of External Affairs, Airports Authority of India and AIIMS New Delhi, along with various state e-governance programmes.
GUVNL is the Government of Gujarat's holding company overseeing power generation, transmission and distribution activities across the state under the Energy and Petrochemicals Department.
Q1FY27 Financial Performance
For the quarter ended June 2026, Silver Touch Technologies reported consolidated revenue of Rs 78.02 crore, registering approximately 23.45 per cent year-on-year growth. The growth was supported by continued execution across government and enterprise digital transformation projects.
EBITDA nearly doubled to Rs 17.04 crore, marking an 89 per cent year-on-year increase. The EBITDA margin expanded by around 782 basis points to 22.21 per cent, supported by improved operating leverage from software-led business.
Profit after Tax surged 148 per cent year-on-year to around Rs 10 crore. The PAT margin also improved by approximately 656 basis points to 13 per cent.
Stock Rises 725 Per Cent in Five Years
Silver Touch Technologies has delivered strong returns over the past five years. The stock has risen from Rs 18.50 per share to its latest closing price of Rs 152.50, translating into a gain of approximately 725 per cent.
The stock generated positive returns in each of the last five calendar years. In 2022, it surged 135 per cent, while the stock gained another 100 per cent in 2023.
The strong performance continued in 2026, with the stock touching a fresh record high of Rs 216.80 per share. However, the stock subsequently witnessed a sharp correction amid broader market volatility and is currently around 30 per cent below its peak.
The fresh Rs 5.12 crore GUVNL order, therefore, puts Silver Touch Technologies back in focus as investors track its order wins, government project execution and financial performance.
