1:1 Bonus Share: Waste management company bags new order worth Rs 1,88,62,424 from Jambusar Nagarpalika

Urban Enviro Waste Management Limited has secured a new domestic work order from Jambusar Nagarpalika in the Bharuch District of Gujarat, valued at approximately Rs 1,88,62,424. This contract, to be executed within approximately one month, involves comprehensive waste management services including road sweeping, door-to-door garbage collection, and property cleaning for Jambusar Nagarpalika for one year. This order further strengthens Urban Enviro Waste Management's presence in providing essential environmental services to local municipalities.

Earlier, the company had bagged a work order from Bilimora Nagarpalika in Gujarat for the processing of legacy solid waste at its dumping site under the Swachh Bharat Mission-2.0. This contract, valued at Rs 28,27,666.00, is for a duration of two months.

Furthermore, the company issued 43,30,000 Equity Shares of Rs 10 each as a bonus to its eligible shareholders in the ratio of 1:1 (one new equity share for every existing equity share) held on the Record Date. The ex-date for the bonus share was Friday, February 07, 2025.

Incorporated in 2011, Urban Enviro Waste Management Limited provides waste management solutions & municipal solid waste (MSW) management services. The company has a market cap of over Rs 140 crore and has a good return on equity (ROE) track record: 3-year ROE 43.2 per cent.

According to the annual results, the net sales increased by 38 per cent to Rs 141 crore, operating profit increased by 39 per cent to Rs 25 crore and net profit increased by 43 per cent to Rs 10 crore in FY25 compared to FY24. The shares of the company have an ROE of 38 per cent and a ROCE of 32 per cent. The stock is up 24 per cent from its 52-week low of Rs 136.05 per share.
