Urban Enviro Waste Management Limited has announced the receipt of a new work order valued at Rs 55.20 crore from the Akola Municipal Corporation. The contract, awarded on August 22, 2025, at 10:00 PM, will run for a period of five years.

The scope of the order includes the daily collection and transportation of segregated municipal solid waste (dry and wet) from residential, commercial, and other properties within the Akola Municipal Corporation limits. The company will utilize vehicles provided either by the municipal body or by the contractor itself. In addition to waste transportation, Urban Enviro Waste Management will also be responsible for collecting user charges as fixed by the Corporation.
