38% Return in a Week: This Low PE, Debt-Free Small Cap Stock Sees Promoter Stake Rise QoQ; Share Price Hit 10% Upper Circuit

Saraswati Commercial (India) Ltd rallied 38% in a week as the company turned debt-free in FY26, promoter holding increased sequentially, and the stock continued to trade at a PE of 16.7, below the industry average of 22.

On Wednesday, Indian equity benchmarks traded lower, with the benchmark Nifty 50 index declining 0.72 per cent to 24,222.35. Amid the broader market weakness, Saraswati Commercial (India) share price hit the 10 per cent Upper Circuit at Rs 13,644, extending their weekly rally to 38.70 per cent. During the week, the stock climbed from an open of Rs 9,840 to touch a high of Rs 13,644, before closing the week at the same level. Weekly trading volume stood at 2.83 thousand shares.

Saraswati Commercial Stock Price Rallies 38 Per cent in a Week

Saraswati Commercial (India) Ltd has witnessed strong buying interest, with the stock rallying 38.70 per cent over the past week. The shares advanced from Rs 9,840 at the week's opening to Rs 13,644, marking a sharp rise despite weakness in the broader equity markets.

Saraswati Commercial Turns Debt-Free in FY26

The company's balance sheet shows a significant improvement in its financial position during FY26. Borrowings declined to nil in March 2026, compared with Rs 43 crore in March 2025, making the company debt-free.

Meanwhile, reserves increased to Rs 1,100 crore in FY26 from Rs 966 crore a year earlier. Total assets also rose to Rs 1,218 crore from Rs 1,109 crore, indicating continued strengthening of the balance sheet.

Promoter Holding Increases Sequentially

According to the March 2026 shareholding pattern, promoter holding increased to 74.88 per cent from 73.99 per cent in the December 2025 quarter, representing a 0.89 percentage point quarter-on-quarter increase.

Public shareholding correspondingly declined to 25.12 per cent from 26.01 per cent during the same period.

PE Below Industry Average

The stock is currently trading at a price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of 16.7, compared with the industry average P/E of 22.7, indicating that it trades below the sector average on this valuation metric.
