Rs 1,703 Crore Order Book: Defence & Space Company Secures Rs 194 Crore Order in Civil Nuclear Power Sector

The stock price has given multibagger returns of 107 per cent from its 52-week low.

MTAR Technologies Limited has announced that it has secured major domestic orders worth Rs 194 crore in the Civil Nuclear Power sector. The contracts, awarded by Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Ltd., mark MTAR’s entry into a new customer relationship within this segment. The scope of work includes the supply of end fittings and associated components, with execution scheduled to be completed by April 2028.

The orders form part of the larger Rs 504 crore confirmed order pipeline linked to the Kaiga 5 and 6 reactors. According to Managing Director Parvat Srinivas Reddy, the company expects to receive the remaining orders soon. He added that strong order inflows and favourable industry tailwinds indicate significant growth opportunities for the Civil Nuclear Power sector in the coming years.

MTAR, which operates across Clean Energy—including Civil Nuclear Power and fuel cells—Space, and Defence sectors, clarified that the orders are fully domestic. The company further confirmed that no related party transactions were involved and that neither promoters nor promoter group entities have any interest in the awarding entity.

MTAR develops and manufactures components and equipment for the defense, Aerospace, nuclear and clean energy sectors. The company was incorporated in 1970 by the promoters, Mr PR Reddy, Mr KSN Reddy and Mr PJ Reddy, to cater to the technical and engineering needs of the Indian government in the post embargo regime. MTAR has manufacturing footprints in Hyderabad with seven units spread across a 4 km radius and a dedicated export facility as well.

In addition, the company also supplies specialised products such as Ball Screws, Water Lubricated Bearings, Roller Screws, Electro-Mechanical Actuation Systems, ASP assemblies etc. that find applications across diverse sectors.
