Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today. 

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 216 points or 0.25 per cent.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 0.48 per cent, power zoomed by 0.14 per cent, and auto surged by 0.07 per cent.

Meanwhile, GE Vernova T&D India Ltd, Orchid Pharma Ltd and Samhi Hotels Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.

 

GE Vernova T&D India Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 6.34 per cent to trade at Rs 3,113.00 apiece.  GE Vernova T&D India Ltd, formerly GE T&D India Ltd, has secured a major domestic contract from AESL Projects Ltd for the design and establishment of a 2,500 MW, ± 500 kV HVDC VSC Terminal Station (2x1250 MW) to evacuate renewable power from Khavda (KPS 3) to South Olpad. The multi-year project, awarded on December 20, 2025, involves end-to-end work including design, supply and execution, strengthening the company’s presence in India’s high-capacity power transmission segment.

Orchid Pharma Ltd, an S&P BSE company, gained 4.56 per cent to trade at Rs 822.10 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.

Samhi Hotels Ltd, an S&P BSE company, advanced 4.41 per cent to trade at Rs 184.85 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
