A solid positive breakout is seen in these stocks; do you hold them?

Nifty 50 started lower on Tuesday at 18,600.65, compared to the previous day's close of 18,701.05. This was due to poor global cues. Leading Wall Street indices tumbled on Monday as a result of upbeat services data that raised fears that the US Fed could continue hiking interest rates.

In overnight trade, Nasdaq Composite dropped 1.93 per cent, Dow Jones sank 1.4 per cent, and S&P 500 dipped 1.79 per cent. Asian markets plummeted on Tuesday, mirroring Wall Street's overnight trading action.

Nifty 50 was trading at 18,608.05 at 12:04 a.m., down 93 points or 0.5 per cent. Despite trading lower, broader market indices are trading in line with the frontline indices. Nifty Mid-Cap 100 index fell 0.41% and Nifty Small-Cap 100 index is down 0.25%.

The advance-decline ratio on the BSE was negative, with 1621 stocks rising, 1710 falling, and 154 staying unchanged. PSU banks and FMCG are the only two sectors trading in the green, while IT, pharma, retail, and realty suffered the most.

According to December 5 statistics, FIIs were net sellers and DIIs were net purchasers. Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) sold Rs 1,139.07 crore worth of shares. Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) invested Rs 2,607.98 crore in shares.
