Container Corporation of India’s peer logistics company-North Eastern Carrying Corporation Ltd (NECCL), a prominent Indian transportation company specialising in freight forwarding, logistics and goods transportation, announced its Quarterly Results (Q1FY26).

According to quarterly results, the company reported net sales of Rs 69.10 crore in Q1FY26 compared to net sales of Rs 77.63 crore in Q1FY25. The company reported a net profit of Rs 1.78 crore in Q1FY26 compared to net profit of Rs 3.67 crore in Q1FY25.

Additionally, the company has secured a significant five-year contract with Tata Steel Limited (TSL). This agreement, as disclosed under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, entails NECCL transporting steel products from TSL Khopoli to various destinations, including Kalamboli, Panvel and Taloja. Notably, this contract will be executed using Electric Vehicles (EVs), aligning with NECCL's stated commitment to expanding its opportunities in EV logistics.
