Defence marine company receives new orders worth Rs 25,60,60,000 from Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd

Shree Refrigerations Limited (SRL) has secured a significant order from Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDL), a Government of India Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, for the Supply of B & D Spares for AC Plant - P17A. This domestic contract, valued at Rs 25,60,60,000 (approximately 25.61 crore), is slated for execution with a delivery timeline of seven months from the date of the Purchase Order placement. This key procurement order highlights SRL's role in supporting India's defence capabilities through the supply of essential components for the P17A class ships.

This recent MDL order is part of a strong period of order accretion for SRL. The company also announced two other significant domestic contracts: a Rs 19.62 Crore order from MDL for a Turnkey HVAC system and a Rs 4.12 Crore order from Material Organisation, Mumbai, for a Magnetic Bearing Compressor-based AC Plant. In total, these new wins add Rs 49.34 Crore to SRL's order book, following closely on the heels of a landmark Rs 106.62 Crore contract awarded on August 25th, 2025, by Hindustan Shipyard Ltd (HSL) for HVAC solutions for five Fleet Support Ships (FSS) of the Indian Navy. These consecutive order wins demonstrate SRL's robust engineering, project execution capability and proven track record in delivering end-to-end, energy-efficient and technologically advanced HVAC solutions for defence platforms.
