FII Stake Increases: Three Stocks Under ₹200 That Foreign Investors Are Quietly Accumulating

Foreign institutional investors have been steadily increasing their holdings in Tourism Finance Corporation of India, IOL Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals, and Jammu and Kashmir Bank over the past several quarters & the share prices of all three have responded positively over the past year.

On Tuesday, Indian equity benchmarks ended marginally lower, with the Nifty 50 index closing at 23,985.35, down 10.60 points or 0.04 per cent. Against this subdued broader market backdrop, the June 2026 shareholding data filed with the exchanges shows that foreign institutional investors (FIIs) increased their stakes in these three stocks priced below Rs 200.

Tourism Finance Corporation of India

Tourism Finance Corporation of India has seen a notable uptick in foreign institutional interest over the past four quarters. FII holding in the company stood at 4.61 per cent in September 2025, which then eased to 4.34 per cent in December 2025 before declining further to 2.77 per cent in March 2026. The trend reversed sharply in the June 2026 quarter, with FII stake climbing to 5.46 per cent, the highest level in the past four quarters and a jump of 2.69 percentage points from the March 2026 quarter.

The stock has reflected this renewed interest. Tourism Finance Corporation of India share price closed at Rs 97.10 on July 28, 2026, representing a gain of 74.89 per cent over the past one year. The 52-week range stands between Rs 51.00 and Rs 98.00, with the current price near the upper end of that band.

Tourism Finance Corporation of India is a non-Banking financial company focused on providing financial assistance to projects in the tourism and hospitality sector. It supports hotels, resorts, amusement parks, and other tourism-related infrastructure through term loans and other credit facilities. The company is a public sector enterprise under the administrative control of the Ministry of Tourism.

IOL Chemicals

IOL Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals has witnessed a more steady and sustained increase in FII participation. Foreign institutional holding was at 2.25 per cent in September 2025, which declined slightly to 2.08 per cent in December 2025 and fell further to 1.72 per cent in March 2026. The June 2026 quarter saw a sharp reversal, with FII stake rising to 4.87 per cent, an increase of 3.15 percentage points over a single quarter.

Promoter holding has also moved meaningfully over this period, rising from 57.48 per cent in March 2026 to 62.28 per cent in June 2026, while public shareholding has declined from 40.78 per cent to 32.41 per cent over the same period, indicating consolidation of ownership at both the promoter and institutional level.

The stock closed at Rs 147.84 on July 28, 2026, up 60.03 per cent over the past year. The 52-week high stands at Rs 179.60, while the 52-week low is Rs 67.19.

IOL Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals is an integrated manufacturer of active pharmaceutical ingredients and specialty chemicals. Its key products include ibuprofen, where it is among the largest producers globally, along with ethyl acetate and other industrial chemicals. The company serves both domestic and international pharmaceutical markets.

Jammu and Kashmir Bank

Jammu and Kashmir Bank presents a different profile: a bank with consistent and broad-based institutional accumulation. FII holding in the bank stood at 7.85 per cent in September 2025, rising to 8.14 per cent in December 2025 and 8.35 per cent in March 2026. The June 2026 quarter saw a further increase to 9.38 per cent, marking a gain of 1.03 percentage points over the previous quarter and a rise of 1.53 percentage points over the past four quarters.

DII holding has also increased notably, from 5.76 per cent in September 2025 to 7.85 per cent in June 2026. Promoter holding has remained unchanged at 59.40 per cent across all four quarters, while public shareholding has contracted from 26.98 per cent in September 2025 to 23.37 per cent in June 2026, a steady reduction as institutions absorbed more of the free float.

The stock closed at Rs 177.99 on July 28, 2026, up 0.27 per cent for the day. Over the past year, the share price has traded between a 52-week low of Rs 97.35 and a 52-week high of Rs 201.75.

Jammu and Kashmir Bank is a scheduled commercial bank headquartered in Srinagar, with a significant presence across Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. It operates as a universal bank offering retail, corporate, and agricultural banking services. The Government of Jammu and Kashmir is the majority promoter with a 59.40 per cent stake.
