FIIs Increased Stake to 10.16%: Market Leader of Harness Wiring Industry Announces Record Date for 1:2 Bonus Share Issue - Details Inside!

Motherson Sumi Wiring India Limited (MSWIL) has announced that its shareholders have approved the issuance of bonus equity shares in a 1:2 ratio, meaning one bonus equity share for every two existing equity shares held. This approval was granted via an Ordinary Resolution passed through a postal ballot, the results of which were declared on July 7, 2025.

The company has fixed Friday, July 18, 2025, as the 'Record Date' for the purpose of determining the eligibility of shareholders entitled to receive these bonus shares.

Looking at financial returns, the company has experienced a -14 per cent return over the last year, while its stock price has shown a 6 per cent Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) over the past three years. In terms of financial results, for the quarter ended March 31, 2025 (Q4 FY25), MSWIL reported a revenue of Rs 2,509.52 crore and a net profit of Rs 164.93 crore. For the full financial year 2024 (FY24), the company's revenue stood at Rs 8,328 crore and net profit at RS 638 crore.
