Gautam Adani-backed power company commissioned 50-MW solar-wind hybrid project; Total renewable capacity now 15,865.5-MW

Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) announced the commissioning of a 50 MW solar-wind hybrid power project by its step-down subsidiary, Adani Renewable Energy Three Limited, at Khavda, Gujarat. This new addition, operational since 7:29 a.m. on August 8, 2025, has boosted AGEL's total operational renewable generation capacity to 15,865.5 MW.

In Q1FY26 results, the company reported net sales of Rs 3,800 crore and net profit of Rs 824 crore while in its FY25 results, the company reported net sales of Rs 11,212 crore and net profit of Rs 2,001 crore. The company has a market cap of Rs 1.44 lakh crore and has delivered good profit growth of 127 per cent CAGR over the last 5 years with debtor days having improved from 68.9 to 50.1 days. The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has a 1.32 per cent stake. The stock is up by 25 per cent from its 52-week low of Rs 758 per share.
