Gaudium IVF and Women Health Limited has approved the establishment of a new women’s hospital in Lucknow through a long-term lease arrangement, with a planned investment of up to Rs 15 crore

On Thursday, Indian benchmark indices traded higher, with the Nifty 50 gaining 31.20 points, or 0.13 per cent, to 24,052.85. Despite the positive market sentiment, Gaudium IVF and Women Health share price declined 1.99 per cent to Rs 108.63 during the session.

Board Approves New Women's Hospital In Lucknow

Gaudium IVF and Women Health Limited has approved the establishment, development, operation and management of Gaudium Women Hospital, Lucknow, marking another step in the company's expansion strategy. The proposed hospital will be developed through a long-term arrangement with the owner of a property located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

The proposal was approved by the company's Board of Directors at its meeting held on June 25, 2026.

Gaudium IVF Planned Rs 15 Crore Investment

The Board has also approved an estimated project cost of up to Rs 15 crore towards the development and operationalisation of the proposed hospital.

The investment will cover Construction, fit-outs, furnishing, medical infrastructure, plant and machinery, medical equipment, IT infrastructure, commissioning and other project-related expenditure required to make the hospital operational.

30-Year Long-Term Lease Arrangement

The company will establish the hospital under a 30-year land lease agreement with a 15-year lock-in period, which can be renewed upon mutually agreed terms.

Under the agreement, the company will pay the landowner 10 per cent of the hospital's net monthly revenue, along with applicable Taxes. Gaudium IVF will also provide a security deposit of Rs 3 crore, which will be adjusted against future revenue-sharing payments until fully recovered. After the recovery of the deposit, the agreed revenue-sharing arrangement will continue on a monthly basis.

The company will have the right to develop, commission, operate and manage the hospital throughout the lease tenure.

Expansion Of Healthcare Network

The proposed facility is expected to strengthen Gaudium IVF's presence in North India by expanding beyond fertility treatment into comprehensive women's healthcare services. The new hospital is aimed at providing specialised medical care while supporting the company's long-term growth strategy through capacity expansion.

The company clarified that the transaction is not a related-party transaction, and the parties involved are not related to the promoter or promoter group.
