Basilic Fly Studio Limited, a global VFX powerhouse, has opened its Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) issue on September 8, 2025. The issue will close on September 11, 2025, with allotment scheduled for the same day. The floor price has been fixed at Rs 441.81 per equity share, against the Company’s market price of Rs 492.85 as of September 8, 2025.

The Company has reported strong growth in FY25, with revenue rising 189 per cent year-on-year to Rs 306.07 crore, profit after tax (PAT) at Rs 46 crore, return on equity (ROE) at 28 per cent, return on capital employed (ROCE) at 23 per cent, and collections of Rs 280 crore. GYR Capital Advisors Private Limited is acting as the Book Running Lead Manager (BRLM) for the QIP.

Use of Proceeds

The proceeds from the issue will be used for inorganic growth opportunities such as acquisitions, strategic investments, and joint ventures. A portion will also be directed towards technology enhancement and expansion, ensuring continued leadership in the VFX industry.
