MIC Electronics Ltd has secured a significant domestic work order from the Palakkad Division S&T, Railway Divisional Office, Signal and Telecommunication Branch, Palakkad. The contract, valued at Rs 1,28,34,157.90, involves the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of an IPIS system at Kannur station. This project is part of a broader "Improvements to Passenger Amenities" under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme and includes a six-year comprehensive annual maintenance contract (CAMC). The company received the Letter of Acceptance for this direct order, which was obtained through a tender process and is expected to complete the work within six months from the date of the letter.
Earlier, the company secured two notable orders: a domestic order valued at Rs 1,11,50,332.60 from the Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya railway Division of the East Central Railway Zone for Electronic Coach Indication Boards, a fare display board, and a video wall, with a six-month execution timeline. Additionally, the company received a Rs 60,00,000 order from Indian Railways for Emergency Lighting Units.
