Optiemus Infracom Limited has entered into a joint venture with US-based Ordinary Theory LLC to manufacture and market smart enterprise hardware and industrial solutions in India. Optiemus will hold a majority stake in the partnership.
The collaboration is aimed at supporting the government’s “Make in India” initiative while strengthening the domestic electronics manufacturing ecosystem. The focus will be on producing hardware for fintech, logistics, retail, and AI sectors. Optiemus will utilise its manufacturing facilities in India, while Ordinary Theory will provide design and technology expertise from its brands Kozen, Nebullar, and Movfast.
According to the companies, the venture will contribute to job creation, skill development, and provide Indian alternatives to international hardware products.
