The company faced a challenging first quarter in fiscal year 2025-26, reporting a net loss of Rs 23.5 crore. This stands in stark contrast to a net profit of Rs 1.1 crore in the same period last year. Revenue from operations also saw a significant decline, dropping 85.1 per cent to Rs 12.7 crore from Rs 86.2 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Despite these financial setbacks, the firm managed to reduce its total expenses by 53 per cent to Rs 42 crore, down from Rs 90.6 crore in the prior year's first quarter.
Despite the financial downturn, the company achieved several notable operational milestones. It secured a crucial Emergency Procurement order from the Indian Army valued at Rs 137 crore for mini-UAVs. The effectiveness of their UAVs was further demonstrated through their deployment by the Indian Army during Operation Sindoor, showcasing their battlefield readiness. Strategic initiatives included a collaboration with HFCL to gain global market access for advanced UAV solutions, and participation in prominent international exhibitions such as DSEI Japan, Xponential 2025 (USA), Paris Air Show (France), and IDET (Czech Republic). The company also conducted its largest ever field trials, triggered by Operation Sindoor, which highlighted the long-range and endurance capabilities of their ZOLT platform and the electronic warfare resilience across all their platforms.
