Nifty Trades Higher, Small-Cap Index Outperforms; MCX Share Price Surpasses 10,000 Mark

The Indian benchmark indices were seen trading higher at 9:19 am on November 26, 2025. The Nifty 50 index was up by 0.34 per cent and Sensex was also up by 0.33 per cent. Meanwhile, India VIX index declined by 2.37 per cent. The Nifty Bank index was seen trading higher by 0.38 per cent above the 59,000 mark.

All the sectoral indices were seen trading in green led by Nifty Metal and Nifty PSU Bank. All the constituents of Nifty Metal were trading in green.

The broader markets were seen trading higher with Nifty Small-Cap index up by over 0.6 per cent, Nifty Midcap was up by 0.42 per cent.

Among stock specific action, MCX share price hit a fresh 52-week high and surpassed important psychological mark of Rs 10,000.
