Nomura-backed Lemon Tree Hotels expands its footprint with new properties in Nepal and Srinagar, reporting record Q3 revenue and EBITDA.
Lemon Tree Hotels, one of India’s leading hotel chains, is expanding its presence with two significant property signings in Nepal and Jammu & Kashmir.
New Property in Simara, Nepal
The company has announced the signing of a new hotel in Simara, marking its seventh property in Nepal. With two operational hotels and five more upcoming, Lemon Tree Hotels is strategically building its presence in high-growth gateway cities and transit-focused markets.
Managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited, the upcoming 98-room property is designed to cater to the modern traveller seeking comfort and connectivity. The hotel will offer a multi-cuisine restaurant, a lounge, and extensive banquet and conference facilities. Wellness amenities include a swimming pool, spa, and fitness centre, creating a holistic stay experience for guests.
Expanding in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir
Simultaneously, Lemon Tree Hotels is strengthening its footprint in Jammu & Kashmir with the signing of Keys Prima by Lemon Tree Hotels, Srinagar. This 60-room property is the sixth hotel in the region, bringing the company’s total footprint in Jammu & Kashmir to four operational hotels and two under development.
Located just 2 km from Srinagar International Airport and 11 km from Srinagar Railway Station, the property ensures excellent connectivity for corporate travellers and leisure guests. It will feature a restaurant, banquet hall, conference room, and recreational facilities including a swimming pool and fitness centre. Like the Nepal property, it will be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited.

Lemon Tree Hotels Ltd Share Price and Performance
On Thursday, Lemon Tree Hotels Ltd shares closed at Rs 108.24, up Rs 0.44, or 0.41 per cent. The stock had opened at Rs 105.00, reached a high of Rs 111.40, and a low of Rs 103.80, with the previous close at Rs 107.80. Year-to-date, the share price is down 30.91 per cent, while over the past year it has declined 24.56 per cent.
In the third quarter, Lemon Tree Hotels recorded its highest-ever revenue and EBITDA. Revenue reached Rs 407.8 crore, representing a 15 per cent increase compared with the same period last year. Net EBITDA rose 12 per cent year-on-year to Rs 206.4 crore, translating into a net EBITDA margin of 50.6 per cent.
