Premier Energies Ltd takes a giant leap in India’s clean energy journey, commissioning a 5.6 GW solar module plant and boosting total capacity to 11.1 GW, supported by a robust Rs 137 billion order book.

India’s renewable energy journey has taken a giant leap forward. Premier Energies Ltd, through its wholly owned subsidiary Premier Energies Global Environment Private Ltd, has commissioned a 5.6 GW Solar Photovoltaic TOPCon module manufacturing facility at Seetharampur, Ranga Reddy District, Telangana. Trial production has already begun, marking a major step in expanding India’s clean energy capacity.

With this addition, Premier Energies’ total solar module capacity now stands at 11.1 GW. This makes it one of India’s largest solar manufacturers and positions the company to serve both domestic and global markets more effectively.

This milestone comes shortly after the company’s previous announcement on May 17, 2025. The new facility strengthens India’s position in the renewable energy sector and supports the country’s clean energy goals.
