Bodhi Tree Multimedia Ltd. (BTML) has announced a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Amit Khan Content Hub (AKCH) to jointly develop and produce premium original content for television and Over-The-Top (OTT) platforms. This partnership aims to leverage BTML's strengths in financing, operational execution, and large-scale production with AKCH's celebrated creative vision and storytelling expertise. The collaboration signals a shared commitment to delivering compelling narratives that blend mass appeal with creative depth.
The collaboration will operate through a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), in which BTML will hold a majority stake. Under this structure, BTML will be responsible for spearheading the financing, strategic partnerships, and overall operations. Conversely, the creative control will rest with AKCH, led by the prolific novelist Amit Khan, who will oversee creative development, production execution, and key business development initiatives. Khan is renowned for authoring over 100 novels, most notably the landmark Hindi pulp fiction series, Commander Karan Saxena.
The immediate future roadmap for the partnership involves developing a slate of original projects that combine Khan's rich storytelling legacy with high production values. By doing so, BTML and AKCH aim to create fresh, compelling narratives that target both domestic and international audiences. This synergy of production scale and celebrated literary content is positioned to significantly boost the flow of original content from one of India's leading content houses.
