The domestic market is currently facing a challenging phase, marked by a substantial selloff from FIIs and benchmarks falling from their record highs. Factors such as heightened geopolitical tensions, a capital shift toward China after its stimulus measures, and the RBI’s decision to maintain the repo rate at 6.5 per cent have weighed on growth prospects. In this context, Q2FY25 results hold potential to lift the market and justify high valuations to regain investor confidence. While TCS started the earnings season with underwhelming results, Indian IT companies are expected to post 4-6 per cent revenue growth for Q2. With major IT firms and banks set to release results soon, stay tuned for our special story on Q2 performances!
