Rs 16,361 Crore Order Book: T&D Company Secures Rs 459 Crore International Orders

Transrail Lighting has secured new international transmission and distribution orders worth approximately Rs 459 crore, taking its FY27 order inflow to Rs 1,034 crore
On Thursday, Indian benchmark indices ended marginally higher, with the Nifty 50 gaining 34.35 points, or 0.14 per cent, to close at 24,056. Amid the positive market sentiment, Transrail Lighting share price ended 1.21 per cent lower at Rs 511.95, despite the company announcing fresh international orders worth approximately Rs 459 crore.
Transrail Bags Rs 459 Crore International Orders
Transrail Lighting Limited informed the stock exchanges that it has secured new international orders worth approximately Rs 459 crore, primarily in its Transmission and Distribution (T&D) business. The company stated that the orders have been received in the normal course of business and disclosed the development under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
The newly secured projects mainly comprise Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contracts for the construction of transmission lines in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, further strengthening the company's international Order Book and global presence in the transmission infrastructure segment.
FY27 Order Inflow Crosses Rs 1,000 Crore
Following the latest order win, Transrail Lighting's order inflow for FY27 has reached approximately Rs 1,034 crore. In addition, the company has projects worth around Rs 400 crore where it currently holds the L1 (lowest bidder) position, providing further visibility for future order conversion.
The company added that it continues to maintain a healthy bidding pipeline across both domestic and international markets, supported by a robust unexecuted order book.

Management Commentary
Commenting on the order wins, Randeep Narang, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, said the contracts further strengthen the company's position in the international transmission and distribution market and reflect customers' confidence in its engineering and execution capabilities.
He added that a strong unexecuted order book and healthy bidding pipeline position the company to sustain its growth momentum while maintaining operational excellence and focusing on profitable growth.
