Rajesh Power Services has secured turnkey orders worth Rs 653.12 crore from Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited (PGVCL) for underground power distribution projects across four districts in Gujarat.

On Thursday, Indian equity benchmarks traded higher, with the benchmark Nifty 50 index rising 0.54 per cent to 24,011.40. Amid the broader market strength, Rajesh Power Services share price traded at Rs 859.80, up 4.98 per cent from the previous close after the company announced new orders worth Rs 653.12 crore from Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Ltd (PGVCL).

Rajesh Power Services Bags Rs 653 Crore Orders

Rajesh Power Services has secured turnkey contracts worth Rs 653.12 crore (including taxes) from PGVCL, a Government of Gujarat undertaking. As of Q4 FY26, the company's order book stood at Rs 3,326 crore, and the latest order further strengthens its execution pipeline in the power transmission and distribution segment.

The projects involve the conversion of existing 11kV High Tension (HT) and Low Tension (LT) overhead distribution networks into underground cable systems integrated with Ring Main Systems (RMS). The scope also includes GIS mapping and asset tagging as part of the modernisation of Gujarat's power distribution infrastructure.

Projects Across Four Gujarat Circles

The contracts will be executed across the Bhavnagar, Anjar, Junagadh and Porbandar circles in Gujarat. The projects aim to replace overhead electricity networks with underground cable infrastructure, enhancing power reliability while improving monitoring and asset management through GIS-enabled mapping.

The latest mandate further strengthens Rajesh Power Services' presence in underground power distribution projects and expands its portfolio of turnkey EPC contracts in the transmission and distribution sector.
