Rs 3,874 crore Order Book; Infrastructure Giant Secures Rs 69.36 Crore Road Widening Contract

R.P.P Infra Projects Ltd announced on November 28, 2025, that it has secured new domestic work orders worth Rs 69.36 crore. The company received a Letter of Acceptance from the Office of the Superintending Engineer, Chennai Circle, Anna Salai, for a project involving the widening of the Thirumazhisai–Uthukottai Road (SH-50). The project, to be completed within 12 months, includes widening the road from two lanes to four lanes between Km 23/0 and Km 36/5.
The scope of work covers reConstruction and widening activities across multiple stretches. This includes rebuilding box culverts at locations such as Km 23/6, 23/10, 24/2, 24/4, 24/6, 25/6, 27/8, 28/4, 29/8, 30/6, 32/2, and 36/2. Additional widening of culverts at Km 23/2, 25/6, and 28/8, widening of a minor bridge at Km 27/4, and construction of a new bridge at Km 35/8 are also part of the contract.
The total contract value stands at Rs 69,36,03,284, including GST. The base cost is Rs 58,77,99,393, and GST at 18 per cent amounts to Rs 10,58,03,891. The tender was negotiated on behalf of the Governor of Tamil Nadu at 0.140 per cent less than the estimate rate for 2025–26 with GST. The final accepted rate reflects 0.015 per cent LER for 2025–26 and includes the revised cement rate accepted on October 8, 2025.
The company is required to enter into a written Lumpsum agreement with the department before commencing work. The contract becomes legally binding only after the company signs the agreement and the competent authority accepts it. Failure to complete this process may result in forfeiture of the Earnest Money Deposit, which may be treated as liquidated damages.
