Rs 4,675 Crore Order Book: Metal Fabrication Company Bags Rs 264 Crore Orders From JSW And Central Warehousing Corporation

On Thursday, Indian benchmark indices traded higher, with the Nifty 50 gaining 47.35 points, or 0.20 per cent, to 24,069.00. Despite the positive market sentiment, Jupiter Wagons share price (JWL) traded 1.72 per cent lower at Rs 263.00 during the session.

Jupiter Wagons Secures Rs 264.32 Crore Orders

Jupiter Wagons Limited has secured two new orders with a combined value of approximately Rs 264.32 crore from JSW (South) Rail Logistics Private Limited and Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC).

The company received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from JSW (South) Rail Logistics Private Limited for the manufacture and supply of five BFNSM1 rakes along with BVCM wagons, valued at Rs 122.88 crore. The order is scheduled to be executed within seven months from the date of signing of the LoI. Additionally, the company will also supply two BFNV wagons to JSW under its earlier requirements.

In a separate development, Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC), a Government of India enterprise, awarded Jupiter Wagons a contract worth Rs 141.44 crore for the manufacture and supply of eight BLSS rakes comprising 32 BLSS-A wagons, 352 BLSS-B wagons and eight brake vans. The project is expected to be completed within one year from the date of the Letter of Award (LoA).

Together, the two orders are expected to strengthen the company's Order Book while reinforcing demand for modern freight transportation solutions across India's logistics sector.
