Om Power Transmission has received a Letter of Acceptance worth Rs 82.17 crore from Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited for an underground power distribution project in Gujarat.

On Thursday, Indian equity benchmarks traded higher, with the benchmark Nifty 50 index rising 0.69 per cent to 24,047.75. Amid the broader market strength, Om Power Transmission share price traded at Rs 175.87, up 3.01 per cent from the previous close after the company secured a Rs 82.17 crore turnkey contract from Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited (PGVCL).

Om Power Bags Rs 82 Crore PGVCL Order

Om Power Transmission has received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from PGVCL, a Government of Gujarat undertaking, for a turnkey contract worth Rs 82.17 crore (including GST). As of Q4 FY26, the company's order book stood at Rs 621 crore, and the latest order further strengthens its execution pipeline in the power transmission and distribution segment.

The project involves the conversion of the existing 11 kV High Tension (HT) and Low Tension (LT) line network, including consumer service lines, into an underground cable network integrated with a Ring Main System at Kaliabid Subdivision (Part-2) of the Bhavnagar Circle in Gujarat.

Project to be Executed in 18 Months

The contract is scheduled to be executed within 18 months, following a 45-day commencement period from the receipt of the Notice of Award (NOA). The project aims to replace overhead power distribution infrastructure with an underground cable network, improving distribution reliability and network stability in the region.

Om Power Transmission Confirms No Related Party Transaction

Om Power Transmission clarified that neither its promoter, promoter group nor group companies have any interest in PGVCL, the entity awarding the contract. The company also confirmed that the order does not qualify as a related party transaction.
