Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the red on Thursday with the Sensex down 0.45 per cent at 82,259 and the Nifty-50 down 0.40 per cent at 25,111. About 2,007 shares have advanced, 2,040 shares have declined and 152 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.07 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.30 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd, Thermax Ltd, AWL Agri Business Ltd and Prestige Estates Projects Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Le Travenues Technology Ltd, Navkar Corporation Ltd, Hinduja Global Solutions Ltd and Ksolves India Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE Realty Index and BSE Metals Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Information Technology Index and BSE Focused IT Index were the Top Losers.

As of July 17, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 461 lakh crore or USD 5.36 trillion. On the same day, 149 stocks hit a 52-week high while 40 stocks touched a 52-week low.
