Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in green on Friday with the Sensex up 0.58 per cent at 83,952 and the Nifty-50 up 0.49 per cent at 25,710. About 1,737 shares have advanced, 2,425 shares have declined and 164 shares were unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.43 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.49 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Whirlpool of India Ltd, Delhivery Ltd, Bharti Hexacom Ltd and Ola Electric Mobility Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Share India Securities Ltd, Bajaj Steel Industries Ltd, Pokarna Ltd and Marathon Nextgen Realty Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE Consumer Durables Index and BSE FMCG Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE IT Index and BSE Focused IT Index were the Top Losers.

As of October 17, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 467 lakh crore or USD 5.31 trillion. On the same day, 156 stocks hit a 52-week high while 126 stocks touched a 52-week low.
