Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in green on Wednesday with the Sensex up 0.44 per cent at 84,997 and the Nifty-50 up 0.45 per cent at 26,054. About 2,483 shares have advanced, 1,666 shares have declined and 176 shares were unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,290.06 on October 23, 2025 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,104.20 on October 23, 2024.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.68 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.56 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Steel Authority of India Ltd, Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Ltd, Housing & Urban Development Corporation Ltd and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Blue Dart Express Ltd, Blue Cloud Softech Solutions Ltd, Dredging Corporation of India Ltd and Five-Star Business Finance Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE Power Index and BSE Utilities Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Auto Index and BSE Consumer Discretionary Index were the Top Losers.

As of October 29, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 474 lakh crore or USD 5.37 trillion. On the same day, 179 stocks hit a 52-week high while 78 stocks touched a 52-week low.
