Solar water pumps company receives order worth Rs 4,75,00,000 from Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd

Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Limited has been awarded a significant domestic contract from the Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (MPUVNL) under the PM Krishak Mitra Surya Yojana, which is being implemented as Component-B of the PM KUSUM scheme. The Letter of Award, with a broad commercial consideration of approximately Rs 4.75 crore (excluding GST), is for the design, manufacture, supply, transport, installation, testing, and commissioning of 197 Off-Grid DC & AC Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems (SPWPS). The work, which involves the installation of these solar pumping systems, is required to be executed within 120 days from the date the work order was issued.
Earlier, the company received an order from the Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited for the installation of 196 Off-grid DC & AC Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems (SPWPS). This project is a component of the PM KUSUM-B scheme, which is being implemented in Madhya Pradesh under the name PM Krishak Mitra Surya Yojana. The total value of the work order is approximately Rs 4.28 crore, excluding GST. The company is required to complete the design, manufacture, supply, transport, installation, testing, and commissioning of these systems within 120 days from the date the work order was issued.
