Stocks to Watch Tomorrow

Three stocks could remain on investors’ radar on Thursday after fresh business updates strengthened their growth and order-book prospects.

The Indian stock market ended lower on Wednesday as elevated crude oil prices and rising global bond yields continued to weigh on investor sentiment.

The Nifty 50 opened at 24,152.05 and briefly climbed to an Intraday high of 24,172.85 before selling pressure intensified. The index slipped to a low of 24,025.65 and then moved largely in a narrow range of 24,040-24,080. The Nifty 50 closed at 24,078, down 76.60 points, or 0.32 per cent, extending its losing streak to seven consecutive sessions. The Sensex declined 325.78 points, or 0.42 per cent, to settle at 76,909.68.

Against this backdrop, here are three stocks that could remain in focus during Thursday’s trading session.

1. Gravita India Ltd

Gravita India Ltd announced plans to add 59,200 metric tonnes per annum (MTPA) of copper recycling capacity at its Mundra facility in Gujarat. The expansion will be carried out in phases and is aimed at strengthening the company’s non-ferrous metal recycling capabilities.

The planned project involves a capital expenditure of around Rs 64 crore. The company said the investment will be funded through internal accruals. The capacity addition is expected to further strengthen Gravita India’s presence in the copper recycling segment and expand its overall recycling operations.

2. Autoline Industries Ltd

Autoline Industries Ltd has secured a new business award from Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd for supplying four critical components for hatchback applications.

Subject to the scheduled programme ramp-up, customer production schedules and actual requirements, the new business is expected to generate annual incremental revenue of around Rs 80 crore. The associated tooling is also expected to contribute one-time revenue of approximately Rs 30 crore. The order win adds to Autoline Industries’ business visibility and could support revenue growth as production ramps up.

3. Ceigall India Ltd

Ceigall India Ltd has secured another Letter of Award (LOA) worth Rs 274.08 crore for Package-2 of the Bile-Migging section in Arunachal Pradesh.

The latest award was secured by the Ceigall India-Rajinder Infrastructure joint venture. It comes a day after four LOAs worth Rs 2,149.62 crore were awarded to the Ceigall India-Sushee Infra Mining joint venture for other sections of the same highway.

With the latest order, Ceigall India’s cumulative wins on the NH-913 Frontier Highway corridor have reached Rs 2,423.70 crore in just two days. The five packages together cover around 278 km of intermediate-lane road Construction. The project is part of the strategically important Frontier Highway corridor in the Northeast. The fresh orders strengthen Ceigall India’s Order Book and add further visibility to its road construction business.
