Subsidiary of Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(ONGC) Announces 40% Interim Dividend

On Wednesday, shares of Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd jumped 1.40 per cent to Rs 191.15 per share from its previous closing of Rs 188.51 per share. The stock’s 52-week high is Rs 203.89 per share and its 52-week low is Rs 98.92 per share. As of 14:53:54 IST, the shares were trading at Rs 191.15. The stock surged 3.20 per cent to its Intraday high of Rs 193.50 from the previous close.

Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL), a Schedule ‘A’ Government of India enterprise and a subsidiary of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd, has announced a 40 per cent interim dividend for the financial year 2025-26 following a meeting of its Board of Directors held on March 3, 2026.

The Board approved an interim dividend of Rs 4 per fully paid-up equity share of face value Rs 10 each, translating into a 40 per cent payout on the face value of the shares.

The company has fixed Wednesday, March 11, 2026, as the record date to determine the eligibility of shareholders for the interim dividend. The payment of the dividend will be completed on or before April 2, 2026.

In addition to the dividend declaration, the Board has recommended the appointment of M/s Kumar Naresh Sinha & Associates as the Secretarial Auditor of the company. The proposed appointment is for a term of five consecutive years, from FY 2026-27 to FY 2030-31, subject to approval of shareholders at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Shri Naresh Kumar Sinha, the proposed auditor, brings over 40 years of experience as a Company Secretary across Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) and private sector companies. He has previously served as Executive Director and Company Secretary at ONGC, a Maharatna PSU, and as Company Secretary and Head Legal at BHEL. For the past ten years, he has been in practice as a Company Secretary and currently serves as Secretarial Auditor for several large PSUs and listed entities.
