SRF Limited, a multi-business chemical conglomerate listed on both BSE and NSE, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tata Steel Special Economic Zone Limited (TSSEZL). The MoU, executed on September 12, 2025, involves the acquisition of land via sub-lease in Gopalpur, District Ganjam, Odisha, valued at approximately Rs 282 crores (exclusive of applicable taxes).
The land acquisition will support SRF Limited’s Chemicals Business in setting up new projects. As per the agreement, the company will carry out due diligence on the land before entering into a definitive sub-lease with TSSEZL, subject to fulfillment of payment obligations within a specified timeframe.
