Tollway Collection Company Secures Rs 69.77 Crore Contract for Muzaina Hetim Fee Plaza From NHAI

Highway Infrastructure Limited (HILINFRA) has announced that it has received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) for a new contract worth Rs 69.77 crore. The award, issued by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), is for the operation of the Muzaina Hetim Fee Plaza in Uttar Pradesh.

The project, located at Km 361.902 of the Gorakhpur – Kasia – UP/Bihar Border section of NH-28, involves user fee collection and the maintenance of the plaza. Along with toll operations, the company will manage the upkeep of toilet blocks and ensure recouping of consumable items.

The total contract value stands at Rs 69,77,77,777, and the duration is fixed for 365 days. Both the awarding body, NHAI, and Highway Infrastructure Limited are domestic entities.

This development comes at a time when infrastructure companies are expanding their presence in fee collection and highway maintenance projects.
