Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 597 points or 0.71 per cent.

Shilpa Medicare Ltd, an S&P BSE Group A company, surged 14.47 per cent to trade at Rs 359.95 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces. 

Shipping Corporation of India Ltd, an S&P BSE Group A company, jumped 12.49 per cent to trade at Rs 249.40 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces. 

Gokaldas Exports Ltd, an S&P BSE Group A company, advanced 8.59 per cent to trade at Rs 847.95 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
