Five-Year Agreement Worth Over USD 75 Million

L&T Technology Services has secured the international engagement for a period of five years. Under the agreement, the company will deploy its Engineering Intelligence (EI) capabilities across the end-to-end product development and engineering lifecycle to support the development of next-generation solutions for the client's global portfolio.

The client name has not been disclosed, as per the agreement with the customer. The filing identifies the client as a leading global technology enterprise in the technology segment and confirms that the engagement is from an international entity.

Engineering Center to Be Established

As part of the engagement, LTTS will also enable the creation of a dedicated Engineering Center for technology and digital functions, leveraging its full stack of Engineering Intelligence solutions. The scope covers product engineering, software development, testing, validation, sustenance engineering, platform operations and related digital engineering services.

The company stated that the engagement is an international contract with a five-year execution period and a broad consideration of over USD 75 million. The filing also confirmed that the promoter, promoter group or group companies have no interest in the entity awarding the contract, and the transaction does not fall under related-party transactions.

L&T Technology Services shares were trading at Rs 3,546.20, up 1.03 per cent, while the Nifty 50 declined 0.21 per cent to 24,103.25. The stock outperformed the broader benchmark during the session following the announcement of the five-year international engagement valued at more than USD 75 million.
