I have been a long-time subscriber of your esteemed publication and closely follow the Super 50 and Top 150 lists published every March. On comparing the 2025 Super 50 with the latest list released last week, I noticed that only a few companies have been retained while many new names have appeared. Since the methodology remains unchanged, why have so many companies been replaced? - Nandkumar J [EasyDNNnews:PaidContentStart]
Editor Responds: Thank you for writing to us. The change in the list primarily reflects an update in our evaluation period. While the financial parameters and screening criteria remain exactly the same, we have shifted the analysis to the latest twelve months instead of relying on older financial data. This allows us to capture the most recent performance and financial strength of companies, which we believe is more relevant for investors when assessing current opportunities.
As business dynamics and earnings can change quickly, using the latest data naturally leads to some changes in the rankings and the companies that qualify for the list. This update in the evaluation period has been clearly mentioned in the methodology section.
