Markets Off To A Positive Start, Sensex Gains Over 100 Points

Backed by nominal gains in some of the Bluechip stocks, Indian markets opened the day on a positive note. At the current hour the Nifty index is trading higher by 31 points at 6730 and the Sensex is up by 113 points to trade at 22558. Most of the sectors are trading in green except IT. INR is trading at 60.15 against per USD.
On account of positive global cues Indian market open on a positive note. The Indian markets are trading higher, with Sensex and NSE Nifty up by 0.50% in today's early morning trade. Nifty is trading up by 31 points to trade at 6730 and the Sensex trades at 22558 up by 113 points.
The advance-decline ratio is the positive side at morning session today. On the NSE, 1879 shares are trading in gains and 1571 shares are down.
Top Nifty Gainers: DLF is the top gainer in today’s morning session and is trading higher by 2.23%. It is followed by ACC, ICICI Bank, BHEL and ITC.
Top Nifty Losers: Jindal Steel is the top loser for today’s morning session and is trading lower by 1.37%. It is followed by Hindalco, Bajaj Auto, Hero Motocorp and TCS.
On the sectoral front, all sectoral indices are trading in green, except IT. Bankex is the top gainer this morning as it surged by 105 points this morning. It was followed by Oil & Gas and Capital Goods, which were up by 102 points and 90 points respectively. Mid-Caps and Small-Caps are up by 60 points and 46 points respectively in this morning session.
Global Markets are trading in negative this morning. Hang Seng is trading down by 284 points. Nikkei is down by 27 points. Taiwan and the Shanghai Composite were trading with nominal gain this morning.
Buzzers: Eicher Motors stock is up and hit its 52 week high at Rs 6629.40.
Nifty Future is trading at 6759 level, above its support level which is at 6730.
