Nifty Flattish, Rupee on Lower End

The Indian market has seen some consolidation in the small range from the morning-session. The Market witnessed some profit booking on the higher level. Some disappointments coming from the currency segment, as the Rupee weakens to 64 mark against USD. On the current scenario the Nifty index down by 14 points at 7951 and the Sensex up by 13 points at 26339. Both the indices were seen trading at flat note by -.20% each.

The Indian market has seen some consolidation in the small range from the morning-session. The Market witnessed some profit booking on the higher level. Some disappointments coming from the currency segment, as the Rupee weakens to 64 mark against USD. On the current scenario the Nifty index down by 14 points at 7951 and the Sensex up by 13 points at 26339. Both the indices were seen trading at flat note by -.20% each.

On the NSE, the advance-decline ratio is indicating negative side. As 967 stocks advances and 1523 stocks declined.

Top Nifty Gainers: Tata Power is leading the gainer lists so far and is up by 3.5%. It is followed by Bajaj Auto, HDFC, ICICI Bank and Bharti Airtel.

Top Nifty Losers: TCS is leading the losers list so far and is down by 3.6%. It is followed by HCL tech, Bosch, Wipro and Vedanta.

Some sectors losing their gain at mid-session. 10 out of 13 sectors were trading in red at the current session. IT the top loser, trading down by 230 points. It is followed by Consumer Durables and Metals, which were down by 177 points and 149 points respectively. Mid-caps and Small-caps also turn in negative note in this scenario and were lower by 26 points and 81 points respectively.

The Asian market continued with the morning trade trading in the positive scenario. The Hang Seng was up by 372 points. It is followed by the Nikkei, which ended up 24 points. The Straits Times and Shanghai Composite were trading with a positive note. However the KOSPI market was marginally down by 4 points.

Buzzer: Bajaj Auto the stock open in positive sentiment and made high at Rs 2297. If the stock closed above technical level of Rs 2300 may see more up move in further trading session.

The Nifty Future is trading in tight band and has been trading in the range of 7950-7980 level. If closes below the level of 7930, it will widen losses.
