Nifty Slides Below 8100, Auto Fall By 1%

The Indian markets witnessed heavy sell-off mid-session. After the sectoral indices like Auto, Capital Goods and FMCG witnessed dipped dives, down more than 1 percent each, the Nifty crashed by 54 points at 8057 and the Sensex by 204 points to reach 26634. Both the indicators were down more than 0.67 percent each.

The advance-decline ratio is on the positive side. On the NSE, 981 shares are in the green and 1527 shares are in red.

Top Nifty Gainers: NTPC is leading the gainer list so far up by 4.4%, followed by Hindalco, kotak Mahindra, Yes bank and dr reddy’s Lab.

Top Nifty Losers: ITC is leading the losers list so far down by 4.8%, followed by Vedanta, Boush M&M and GAIL.

All the sectors were trading in red apart of  Healthcare and Banking. Capital Goods was the top loser down by 355 points. Followed Auto and FMCG were down by 199 points and 205 points respectively. Mid-Caps and Small-Caps also were tumbled in this negative scenario. However Bankex and Healthcare and Oil & gas sustained in positive territory.  

The Asian markets were also trading on a negative note. The Hang Seng down by 179 points. Followed by the Taiwan and KOSPI markets are trading in negative note. The Nikkei was trading with nominal profit.

Buzzer:- ITC the stock hammered badly, more than 5% after disappointing Q2 earning. If it closes below 330 mark mark one can see more down trend.    

Nifty Future continued to fall and broke the 8100 level  indicating more pain ahead.
