Bears on the upper hands, Nifty Sink by 100 points

The Indian markets don’t witness any sign of recovery till closing session. Majority of the indices hammered badly, as sector like Consumer Durables, Bankex, Metals and Capital Goods were dives in the range of 2-5 per cent respectively. The Sensex fell 101 points and ended at 26966. The Nifty deep ended with down by 101 points at 7615 level. Both the indices closed down more than 1.3 per cent each.

The Sensex fell 101 points and ended at 26966. The Nifty deep ended with down by 101 points at 7615 level. Both the indices closed down more than 1.3 per cent each.
The advance-decline ratio was negative side in the closing session. On the NSE, 740 shares closed in green, while 1942 shares ended the day in red.
Top 5 Nifty Gainers: Kotak Mahindra closed the day as the top gainer on the NSE, up by 1.4%. It is followed by NTPC, Power Grid, Bosch and Ambuja Cement were the others that closed the day on a positive note.
Top 5 Nifty Losers: Vedanta was the top loser, down by 9.05%, followed by Hindalco, Tata Steel, Sun Pharma and SBI.
Most of the broader indices witness a free fall trade. Consumer Durables was the top loser for the day, cracks by 401 points. It is followed by the bankex and Metals indices which were fells over by 348 points and 300 points respectively. Also Auto and Capital Goods saw negative moves, around 250 each. Mid-Caps and Small-Caps ended on negative note down by 143 points and 173 points.
On the Asian front, most of the market closed for today’s session. The Nikkei market was ended up by 131 points. However Straits Times closed in negative territory down by 17 points.
Buzzers: The stock of Vedanta down by 9 per cent to broke the technical level of Rs 90. Below this mark the stock may see more downward moves, which is below Rs 85.
The Nifty Future closed below 7700 level which is negative indicator for further trading session.
