Mid-Day stock watch on April 1

Hours since the markets opened today, after a careful observation of stock movements and analysis, we find these below mentioned five stocks worth watching during the rest half of the day.

a) MEP Infrastructure: MEP Infrastructure received toll collection agreement from Road Infrastructure Development Company of Rajasthan (RIDCOR). The company will collect a fee through contractors at two stretches on Alwar-Sikandra Road.

b) Aurobindo Pharma: Aurobindo Pharma received USFDA approval for Valganciclovir tablets. The company will manufacture and market Valganciclovir tablets USP, 450 mg.  The product is to be launched in Q1FY17. Aurobindo Pharma share price will be in focus throughout the trading session.

c) Ashok Leyland: Ashok Leyland posted March monthly sales, which have increased by 31 per cent to 16702 units. The company’s Year to Date (YTD) sales also rose by 34 per cent to 140457 units on a yearly basis. The stock will be watched for the rest of the day.

d) NTPC: NTPC started operations with first unit of 250 MW of Bongaigaon Thermal Power Station (3X250 MW) as of April 1. With this commercial capacity, Bongaigaon Thermal Power Station; NTPC; and NTPC group has become 250 MW; 39352 MW; and 45353 MW respectively.

e) IVRCL: IVRCL’s Vivekananda Flyover project in Kolkata has met with an accident caused by the collapse of an under construction section  on March 31. This type of an incident has occurred for the first time in the company’s history. The stock price of the company dipped about 10.80 per cent on bourses in early trades; and is trading at Rs 5.99 on an intraday basis.
