Overnight Digest – Stocks to look out for on May 11

The stocks which could see a significant movement on May 11 are Kotak Mahindra Bank, Crompton Greaves, Tata Steel, Zee Entertainment, Apollo Tyres/Asian paints/Quick Heal.

a) Kotak Mahindra Bank: Company on May 11, is expected to declare its Q4FY16 results. The firm's subsidiary Mahindra Prime intends to raise 50 crores by issuing debentures, via private placement.

b) Crompton Greaves: Consumer electricals company Crompton has launched a smart ceiling fan which could sense the temperature in the room and change the speed accordingly, in order to accelerate its growth in a fan market which is growing at a slow pace.

c) Tata Steel: Tata Steel has achieved a major breakthrough, the plant in South Odisha has got a special status of a Special Economic Zone (SEZ). The shares could see a positive vibe on May 11.

d) Zee Entertainment: Zee Entertainment has declared its Q4 results on May 10 and the results have outperformed street estimates. The firm is also planning for a 49 per cent stake in Fly by Wire system.

e) Apollo Tyres/Asian paint/Quick Heal: Following Companies will be declaring their  Q4FY16 results on May 11. Apollo Tyres is a constituent of BSE 200 index, Quick Heal is a part of IPO index and Asian Paints is a  constituent of the SENSEX. The three stocks could be decisive and can be the market makers or breakers on May 11.
