Godrej Agrovet to develop Godrej Properties’ Bengaluru project

Godrej Agrovet (GAVL), subsidiary of Godrej Industries is to develop 100-acres with Godrej Properties. The company’s board of directors approved development of the land at Sarjapur, Bengaluru.

GAVL would benefit through such asset monetisation by way of joint development on 100-acre land with the expertise of Godrej Properties. Meanwhile, the company has not been carrying out any operational activity for a long time on this land.

On June 7, Godrej Properties has partnered with AR Landcraft to develop 100-acre township project in Greater Noida. The company also has plans to develop a golf centric township on this land parcel with a saleable area of about 4 million square feet. This is the first project in Greater Noida and seventh in National Capital Region (NCR). It heralded the company’s entry into the Noida real estate market in January.

The share price of Godrej Properties has increased by 5 per cent on bourses in early trades and is trading at Rs 336 on an intraday basis.

Godrej Properties is a real estate company that has projects in approximately 12 cities. It is an integrated real estate development company involved in activities associated with the development of residential, commercial real estate. The company’s residential portfolio consists of accommodations of varying sizes. The commercial portfolio includes building office space catering to blue-chip Indian and international companies, IT parks catering to the requirements of IT/ITES companies and retail space. Godrej Properties’ township portfolio includes integrated townships consisting of residential and commercial developments.
