Nifty crosses 8500, Metals shine by 2.8 %

From last few trading sessions, the Indian markets have been rallying massively, and this momentum also continues in Tuesday’s sessions. The Nifty ended higher by 53 points at 8521 and Sensex was up by 181 points at 27808. Both the indices ended higher, by around 0.63-0.66 per cent respectively.
From last few trading sessions, the Indian markets have been rallying massively, and this momentum also continues in Tuesday’s sessions. Bankex and Metals were outperformers of the day, up by 340 points and 254 points respectively. The Nifty ended higher by 53 points at 8521 and Sensex was up by 181 points at 27808. Both the indices ended higher, by around 0.63-0.66 per cent respectively.
Market breadth for the Nifty index remained positive and the advance decline ratio ended on the positive side in today’s trading session. 30 stocks closed with green mark whereas, 21 stocks closed in red.
Top 5 Nifty Gainers: Tata Steel was top gainer gain with 5.3% followed by ICICI Bank, Hindalco, Axis Bank and Maruti Suzuki.
Top 5 Nifty Losers: Tata Power was top loser with loss of 1.6% followed by BPCL, Cipla, Coal India and Bank of Baroda.
On the sectoral front, 10 out of the 13 sectors ended in the green. Banking and Metal sectors were top performers and gained by 340 points and 254 points respectively. Whereas Auto and Consumer Durables sector were up more than 100 points each. Mid-caps and Small-caps also showed good strength on closing buzz. However FMCG, Healthcare and IT closed in red territory.
The Asian markets were quoting positive; Nikkei was up by 386 points. While Hong Kong’s Hang-Seng was up by 344 points. Taiwan and Shanghai also closed in positive territory.
In Europe, FTSE opened up by 2 points, DAX opened 149 points higher, and CAC opened 65 points higher.
Derivative Analysis
The Nifty July futures open interest has increased by 0.63%. Bank Nifty July futures open interest has increased by 1.1%. Nifty market closed at 8528 levels & Bank Nifty closed at 18693 levels.Top 5 Gainers On NSE
