Bharti Airtel : -Bharti Airtel Ltd., has now informed BSE that the proposed transaction has been successfully concluded for Orissa circle, following the receipt of all necessary approvals and satisfying all the conditions (including conditions stated in the Spectrum Trading Guidelines). With this, the Company has completed the transaction in 7 out of 8 circles namely Tamil Nadu (including Chennai), Bihar, Jammu & Kashmir, West Bengal, Assam, North East and Orissa.
MRF: The Company has posted a net profit of Rs. 4909.30 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2016 as compared to Rs. 4795.40 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2015. Total income has increased from Rs. 35198.00 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2015 to Rs. 35555.30 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2016.
IDBI Bank:-The results for Q1 FY17 were declared on August 11. IDBI Bank's Q1 profit is up by 78% at Rs 241 crore compared with Rs 135.2 crore in the year-ago period. It was entirely driven by hefty tax credit, other income and growth in operating profit.
REC :- Rural Electrification Corporation has declared bonus in the ratio of 1:1; and hence the stock may react to the news on August 12.
