Asian Paints in fact touched its 52-week high on October 13 at Rs 1230 per share. The stock is trading at Rs 1214.55 per share on intraday basis.
Berger Paints on the other hand is trading close to its 52-week high of Rs 276 per share at Rs 263 per share.
Over one year Asian paints has gained 41.2 per cent and in six-month period the stock has gained by almost 41.08 per cent. Berger paints has in one year gained by 64 per cent and over six months has gained by almost 44 per cent. Over the long run both the paints stocks have turned out to be multibaggers with Asian Paints delivering almost 31 per cent CAGR returns over five year period and Berger paints delivering almost 49 per cent CAGR returns over five year period.
